This has been one of my main studies in Spirituality through all of the various mystics such as St. John of the Cross, St. Teresa of Avila, the Hindu sages, Buddha... The memories of my Mom putting on her FRENCH BLUE eye shadow over her slender eyelids... Her intense large blue eyes where highlighted by this eye shadow. She was beautiful with her glowing face... A young "Julie Andrews" or a "Grace Kelly"... One of those rare beauties who turned heads everywhere she went with her FRENCH BLUE eyeshadow. Living in Miami, Florida since 1986 is about the aqua bay water reflected against the various islands creating an abstract painting of positive and negative spaces. SUNBURST ~ #35 PAINTING A DAY Copyright 2013
The cosmic sun flares are of interest as it seems to affect the human body in ways hard to describe. SUNBURST is an abstract depiction of the sun throwing flares of cosmic light on us and mother earth. It is almost as if the sun is a radiant volcano with flowing lava yet way greater in intensity.
