GOLD DRUZY is a continuation of my druzy series... This painting reminds me of the moon craters yet it is rich with gold contrasted against the black. The druzy is magnificent with the crystal-like crater reflections filled with jewel tones of gold, purple, green, blue and many other colors. The AQUA WATER of Miami... Florida with it's oceans, bay and lakes is what has kept me painting for the last 20+ years. The sun shining on the ocean as it reflects the colors of turquoise, aqua, greens and deep blues. PEACOCK FEATHER ~ #8 Painting A Day Copyright 2013
The colors of a peacock feather are an inspiration for my paintings. They remind me of the ocean colors with turquoise, deep blue mixed with green in varied patterns.
